EPIC is an independent, not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to advocate for the rights of young people in care or with care experience.EPIC currently provides an advocacy and support service to young people in care and aftercare in all regions and is recruiting for the following post:

Advocacy Officer

This is a full- time post working as part of the National Advocacy Service and reporting to the Manager of the National Advocacy Service. The Advocacy Officer will provide an independent support, advice and advocacy service to children and young people in care or aftercare. The successful candidate will be based in EPIC’s National Office in Smithfield, Dublin 7, working mainly in the Dublin North East  region.

The post will initially be on 2 year fixed term contract with a 6 month probationary period.

Closing date: 5.00pm Monday 22nd February 2016. Interviews will be held on the 9th and 10th March 2016
